Class 1 Long Haul Truck Driver (Edmonton) - Full-time
Want to drive scenic Western Canada during the week, and enjoy regular time-off at home at the end of every week?
Rene Transport is looking for experienced class 1 drivers to fill our long-haul driving positions. Applicants should be comfortable driving with all kinds of road and weather conditions across Western Canada, including demonstrated experience with both mountain and winter driving. Deliveries depart from Edmonton and may deliver to British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan or the Territories.
Qualifications include:
Speak basic English
Clear communication and willingness to continually learn
Class 1 License
able to provide a clear police or RCMP clearance letter
able to lift up to 50 lbs
no education required
experience in trucking/flat deck work is an asset
familiarity with log books and inspection books (pre-trip, post trip) an asset

Class 1 City/Short Haul Truck Driver (Edmonton) - Full-time
Want to be a truck driver and still be home every night?
Rene Transport is looking for an experienced class 1 driver to fill a city/short haul driving position. This position involves delivering and picking up trailers within Edmonton and the province of Alberta. Drivers must be comfortable hauling a variety of loads, including flat decks, vans and containers.
Qualifications include:
Speak basic English
Clear communication and willingness to continually learn
Class 1 License
able to provide a clear police or RCMP clearance letter
able to lift up to 50 lbs
no education required
experience in trucking/flat deck work is an asset

Are you looking for a class 1 opportunity with a set schedule that brings you home every single day?
Rene Transport is looking for a shunt truck operator to work at a large distribution center in southeast Calgary. Applicants will require a valid class 1 license, and experience working with CP would be considered an asset.
Qualifications include:

able to lift up to 50 lbs

Hiring Process
Rene Transport strives to find the best fit for any given position. It's not only about finding the candidate that will work for our needs, but finding a position that will work for your needs. Our goal for the hiring process is to find somebody that will enjoy their work and thrive at our company. With this in mind, the process is as follows:
Submit your resume and commercial vehicle driver abstract to us by fax or email.
Your resume will be reviewed by our Human Resources staff.
We will call potential candidates for a phone interview. We thank all interested applicants, but only suitable candidates will be contacted.
We will decide on the most suitable candidates and bring them in for an in-person interview.
Potential candidates will be road tested.
A reference check will then be conducted on these candidates.
A police clearance will be requested from the candidate.
If all previous steps have been successful, an offer of employment will be made.
